Sash is hand woven on a home made Inkle loom, then a safety rolling catch is hand sewn to back for easy and stress free attaching to your favorite jacket/shirt etc.  The sale of each lapel pin will go to supporting the Captain Amber Boyd legacy fund. This lapel sash was designed by Shauna Taylor and it is part of the actual pattern that was used in creating Captain Boyd's Sacred White Buffalo sash she received on the inaugural Ceremonial Buffalo Hunt 2024. Captain Boyd wore this sash often, it held her family story and depicted her as Captain, which was derived from the Metis Buffalo hunt of days gone by. The yellow threads on the outside of the sash represent Captain. The middle of the lapel sash is the pattern used on Captain Boyd's original sash. These pins were handed out to the family at Captain Boyd's memorial service and are now available for your purchase.
All proceeds to the legacy fund for Rocky View District 4 in Captain Boyds honour.
